The Center for Advanced Public Services is seeking one Assistant Research Engineers. The College of Engineering at The University of Alabama is seeking research staff to work in the Center for Advanced Public Services Minimum Qualifications: Masters in Computer Science, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Microsoft . NET development and advanced skills in Web development, and databases. This may include familiarity with C++, C#, Java, ASP , ASP . NET , Oracle, SQL Server, HTML , SOAP , Web services, . NET server platform, as well as a varied of other NET technologies. Acceptance of application will be at least through July 16, 2017. The appointments are non-tenure earning, and the salary will be determined by the credentials of the applicant. Successful candidates must submit a disclosure and consent form authorizing a background investigation. Prior to hiring, the final candidate(s) must successfully pass a pre-employment background investigation. A prior conviction reported as a result of the background investigation DOES NOT automatically disqualify a candidate from consideration for this position.
