Job Description:/h3:

Perform Visual Information Support in Columbus Mississippi.



Graphic Illustrator:



:Uses computer:aided design and development (CAD/CAM) techniques to prepare drawings, diagrams, illustrations and schematics for product
documentation/literature and all types of publications according to company, customer, and regulatory requirements.



:Prepares new or improved product and component documents including layouts, blueprints, assembly, and detail drawings.



:Interpret the publications, charts, signs, posters, or exhibits in which they appear.



:Designs exhibit concepts, creates final artwork for posters, programs, exhibits, and flyers; custom frame and matting work



:Create original artwork through simple printing of existing or customer provided images, lamination, mounting, exhibits, displays, and animations.



:Creates product or component illustrations including block diagrams, schematics, isometric illustrations, orthographic illustrations, and three:dimensional perspective illustrations for use in marketing literature, manuals, and sales video presentations.



Produce a restricted and controlled amount of computer generated graphics products.



:Produce graphic products for entertainment, advertisement, farewells, promotions, office enhancement, nameplates, door/bldg signs, certificates, business cards, pamphlets, programs, storyboards, place cards, scheduling charts, status rosters, track select or graduations or similar materials.



:Work independently. Demonstrate excellent customer service. Perform other duties, as assigned.

Work experience and other requirements:



Minimum of 3 years related experience

Knowledge and production skills in the use of computer graphics equipment and production software to include, but not limited to, the production of artwork and designs and be proficient in layout, scaling, and perspective.

Must have the ability to interpret ideas from drawings, sketches, notes, specific directions or from abstract customer ideas

Good oral and written communication and the ability to work well with others

Must be a US Citizen

Must have or be able to obtain Secret Clearance at the time of employment.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED is required

BS degree in graphic design preferred

Must have experience with graphic design software
