Leasing Manager
Brief Description:
Provide management, direction, and leadership to ensure the portfolio of rental units are maintained and operated in accordance with Company objectives. Responsibilities include working closely with the individual property owners to manage and operate the rental units, and to facilitate solutions to problems. The following attributes are desirable for job success: experience in managing multifamily properties, certification as a resident manager (ARM, CAM, CMCA, PCAM etc.), ability to supervise staff, bookkeeping experience, ability to communicate effectively, safety conscious, ability to asses yourself, preference for detail work, ability to work well under pressure, self:motivation and self:direction, ability to work with/without direct supervision and the ability to develop a team and be a team leader. Strong management skills, customer service skills, and supervisory skills are required.
Detailed Description:
Develop and implement an Annual Management Plan and Annual Calendar for effective and efficient operations that is approved by the Company.
Analyze advantages and disadvantages of alternative solutions to problems and make recommendations.
Provide leadership and direction to effectively manage relationships to ensure a high level of resident service and achievement of company and property owner goals and objectives.
Establish and maintain industry contacts and relationships in the propertys marketplace through involvement in trade organizations, property management and real estate associations and networking opportunities with vendor outreach and peer groups.
Set and adhere to the highest standards of performance and instill them in any support staff by personal follow:up to insure that the service is being delivered. Demonstrate a routine and effective ability to adjust to changing circumstances.
Listen attentively to questions and comments. Communicate in a professional and composed demeanor under all circumstances.
Respond to phone calls and correspondence in a timely, professional manner (Same day is standard, but in no case is response time to be greater than 24 hours).
Display exceptional ability to analyze and deal with a variety of situations that otherwise could be potential problems.
Maintain a professional relationship with Rental Unit Owners and vendors.
Schedule, supervise and direct the daily activities of any support staff.
Conduct training, coaching and disciplinary action as needed.
Encourage any support staff to behave in a professional manner and comply with safety standards. Motivate staff to work as a team.
Respond to questions accurately when asked and possesses good communication and composition skills.
Support the Companys philosophy, goals and adheres to Company policies.
Offer helpful input when asked for suggestions for improved policies and procedures.
Understand and follow directions given by direct supervisors as well as Rental Unit Owners, and conscientiously complete them.
Act quickly and effectively when the situation demands it.
Organize time effectively and successfully balance the competing demands of multiple projects.
Schedule vacations in advance with consideration of back up during absence.
24/7 emergency response and emergency plans maintained.
Compliance and Enforcement
Acquire and maintain current knowledge of state regulatory agency statutes.
Maintain consistently beautiful rental units in compliance with the property owners goals by processing rules violations and closing them out.
Fair housing compliance
Address Worker Compensation Incidents in a timely manner.
Employment law compliance
Facilities
Appropriately operate, maintain, repair and replace property for Rental Unit Owners in order to efficiently and effectively use resources, keep satisfied owners and residents, increase property valu
